About compiling
You can think of compiling as being similar to the service that traditional printers offer to print-media publishers. Except here we don't physically print and bind paper documents, we compile them in an electronic format i.e. Flash.
Once compiled you can then upload your Flash publication to your or your client's website for viewing on-line. Or distribute it via email, floppy disk, or CD ROM for viewing off-line.
