The MCYS website at www.mcys.gov.sg has
recently been certified universally accessible and user-friendly to people
with disabilities and the elders by the Disabled People’s Association
(DPA).
The website is now AAA-compliant, which is the most stringent compliance level according to the Worldwide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Besides compatibility testing, the Universal Accessibility Audit done by DPA also covered areas such as site evaluation using automated tools such as ‘Bobby’, usability audit and manual accessibility evaluation of pages in the site.
